Meet Vanessa
BILINGUAL PSYCOTHERAPIST
I am a bilingual Spanish Speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my master’s degree from Florida International University in 2018. I have over 8 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families. My clinical experiences range from mental health outpatient programs, field-based community mental health, child welfare, group and private practice. I am passionate about providing a safe therapeutic environment that fosters insight, understanding and compassion towards your healing and growth journey. I embrace a person-centered and humanistic therapeutic approach, ensuring that my clients receive the utmost empathy and respect they deserve.
I was born in Nicaragua, Managua and immigrated to the U.S. when I was 7 years old with my mother and older sister. The transition was not easy, and I struggled adjusting to a new life. However, these years were pivotal in helping transform and shaping my life in the path of becoming a therapist and helping others. On my time off, I love spending time with my family. I enjoy being on mommy mode and spending my weekends at the baseball field watching my children play. I also enjoy the beach and traveling the world with my soulmate.
My Therapeutic Approach
As your therapist, I'm dedicated to offering a safe space where you can freely share your story, piece together your past, and shape your future with confidence.
I offer in-person and virtual therapy with a genuine and authentic approach. It would be my honor to support you on your healing journey.
